In The Spirit

A very early start for the Spirit of Tasmania. Of course we were very early, because we were awake so rather than sit around in a hotel room.......

This is our first sighting of the ship. Told you it was an early start..............
This is Ray - waiting (patiently?) to drive on board. We were actually in the first half dozen cars.

Say goodbye Melbourne...............

Of course there was not much to see once the ship finally sailed through the heads.

We did see quite a large pod of dolphins, the Spirit of Tasmania II passing in the opposite direction and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of ocean!

There was live entertainment on board - where were you Taj???? They were singing 'Eagle Rock' - You could have taught me how to dance!!

While we were on board Ray booked and paid for all the important tours and memberships and I found out all the best places to see penguins.

We did arrive a little late, but were met at our B&B by a lovely couple and a nice comfy bed.
"To sleep, per chance to dream" of adventures to begin the following morning.
