Coles and Wineglass Bays

Bicheno. This was taken just a few metres from our accommodation.
It's really all we have seen of Bicheno so far.
I hear there's more...

Friendly Beaches - not that's not the disposition, it's the name

ON THE WAY UP

Views as we climbed Mt. Mayson. Please note the use of the word 'climbed'. This was more than a walk!

Looking towards Great Oyster Bay

Great Oyster Bay and the start of Coles Bay off to the right.

According to Ray the rock formation on the right of this picture looks like an eagle. Maybe I didn't take the photo correctly!?

In a vain effort to keep our minds off the boot camp that was the climb to see Wineglass Bay we got a bit creative............

Start by recalling the tune to "Moonlight Bay" (Old movie with Doris Day in it?)

We were strolling along
To Wineglass Bay
We could hear each other puffing
It seemed to say
Are we nearly there yet?
Will it be today?
It has stolen my breath, my heart pumps hard
This Wineglass Bay

AT THE TOP

Stunning views over Wineglass Bay.

ON THE WAY DOWN

Looking over Great Oyster and Coles Bays

Muirs Beach was our lunch stop

That's Picnic Island from Muirs Beach..........

Didn't feel like swimming for a picnic, so made Ray BBQ instead.

Views from Cape Tourville, and this time we only had to walk for about 20 minutes to find them.
